CSA League Rules & Regulations
Colorado Soccer Association Advanced League Rules
The CSA Advanced League includes teams from around the state of Colorado and age groups from U-11 to U-19, and is further subdivided into divisions based on the experience and skill level of the teams. The Advanced League offers a system of promotion, so that the top two teams in each division move upward to a more advanced division the next season. Age groups U-11 and U-12 play in a smaller 9v9 format, while all other age groups play standard 11v11 games.
IFAB Laws of the Game: the Official Rules for Soccer Competitions
The International Football Association Board (IFAB) Laws of the Game serve as the foundation for how the game of soccer is played. Professional organizations and competitions use these Laws of the Game verbatim, but CSA has made modifications to the Laws for CSA competitions. The modifications for CSA Advanced League events can be viewed in the previous links. To view the IFAB Laws, visit the official IFAB website for full rules or view the Simplified Laws of the Game website for a simpler, easy to understand version.
